Who we are

What we collect and why

Name and email
When you download a Grimoire volume. Used to send you the download link and future Grimoire updates if you consented. Stored in our Supabase database.
Payment data
If you donate, Stripe processes your payment. We receive only confirmation and amount. We do not store card details.
Analytics data
If you consent: Google Analytics tracks page views, referral source, device type, approximate location (country/city), and behaviour patterns. Used to understand how to improve the site.
Advertising data
If you consent: Google AdSense and Meta Pixel may be loaded for retargeting and interest-based advertising. These third parties have their own privacy policies.
Cookie/consent record
We store your cookie preference in your browser's localStorage. This is essential and cannot be opted out.
Technical data
IP address (processed by Vercel infrastructure for hosting, not stored by us), browser type, referring URL.

Legal basis for processing

  • Consent — analytics, advertising, and marketing emails. You can withdraw at any time via Manage Cookies or by emailing us.
  • Legitimate interests — hosting, security, preventing abuse.
  • Contract — delivering Grimoire downloads you requested.

Third parties we use

  • Supabase — EU database hosting (eu-west-2). Processes subscriber email/name.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Vercel — site hosting. EU region. Processes IP addresses transiently for routing.
  • Google Analytics — if consented. Google LLC, USA. Adequacy decision applies.
  • Google AdSense / Meta Pixel — if consented. Third-party advertising trackers.

How long we keep data

Subscriber records (name, email): retained until you request deletion or 3 years of inactivity, whichever is sooner. Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement). Analytics data: per Google's retention settings (26 months default).

Your rights under UK GDPR

  • Access — request a copy of your data
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction — limit how we use your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object — object to legitimate interests processing
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, for consent-based processing

  • Stripe cookies — set on the Stripe-hosted payment page only.
